Community Living Welland Pelham hosts a number of fundraising events throughout the year. 

Home Décor & Body Show

The Home Décor and Body Show is a springtime event held at 535 Sutherland and generally boasts more than 50 vendors. The Home Décor and Body Show has vendors that compliment interior decorating and as well as personal needs such as make-up, massage, purses, jewellery, etc.

May is Community Living Month!

Jackie's Walk

Jackie's Walk is an annual walk-a-thon that raises money for wheelchair accessible vans. Jackie's Walk is named in honor of Jackie Espaniel, a 20 year employee of Community Living Welland Pelham. Jackie's Espaniel was a highly respected senior support worker. We walk in her memory, in honor of the dedication and commitment she demonstrated to the people we support, and in celebration of her life. Jackie's Walk is a family event and we encourage all people involved with Community Living Welland Pelham to participate with us. Jackie's Walk is held at Merritt Island, in Welland, the first Sunday in June.

Kathy Tweedy Memorial Golf Tournament

Our annual golf tournament began as a group of employees and family members who got together to play a game of golf. A few family members and volunteers decided this would be a good event that could raise funds as well as provide an opportunity for people to play golf! Kathy Tweedy was a 15 year employee of Community Living Welland Pelham who was highly respected and an avid golfer. The Kathy Tweedy Memorial Golf Tournament is our tribute to Kathy. The golf tournament is held in August.

Dinner Dance/Silent Auction

One of the major fundraising events for the year is our annual dinner dance/silent auction. This event is held around the end of November and has a Christmas theme. It is a great place for anyone to celebrate the Christmas season. The Dinner Dance/Silent Auction is one of our major fundraising events of the year and is chaired by Mr. Roger Kucy, chair of fundraising for Community Living Welland Pelham.

Tree of Doves

Community Living Welland Pelham celebrates the Christmas Season with our Tree of Doves campaign. Doves can be purchased in memory or in honor of a loved one. The tree shines at the main entrance of Community Living Welland Pelham, 535 Sutherland. As well, stars are placed throughout the agency that can also be purchased in memory or in honor of loved ones. The Tree of Doves campaign runs through the month of December.
